NEED FOR SPEED THE MOVIE

EA says they have a script for Need for Speed the movie written by sibling
writers John and George Gatins.  These two are mostly known for their
work on the Hugh Jackmen vehicle, Real Steel.

Apparently three company's, Paramount, Warner Bros and Sony are interested in putting down
millions to produce this movie based on EA's long running video game series Need for Speed.
As to which game will be featured in this film is unknown at this moment.
EA's still open for all bidders to finance their endeavor into the film industry.

Maggie Q is slated to appear in the movie and if you don't know who she is or what
movies/TV shows that she can be found in, Check her out  on IMDB.
You may not realise that Maggie Q  was a voice actress in EA's Need for Speed Undercover (2008)
she played the voice of (Chase Linh).

While many aspects of the game are still in development, including the games title, Police Warfare, some of the inspirations for the game come from titles such as Battle Field 3, Grand Theft Auto 4,
and Michael Mann's, Heat. With the action taking place in the streets of LA, Police Warfare pits LA's finest against LA's worst in this fast paced first person shooter with what hopes to be a 32 multiplayer war zone complete with an array of fast moving vehicles to quench your need for speed.    

Elastic Games formed by vetern from Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, Epic Games & Activision employees & lead by team leader/Producer Shawn Wallace and lead game designer James Wearing who have worked on numerous popular titles like Crysis, Crysis 2,Grand Theft Auto 4, Assassin's Creed 2,  also the upcoming Far Cry 3.

Members of the team include experienced developers who have worked on a multitude of games such as, Far Cry 3, Gears of War, Crysis 1 & 2, Assassin's Creed 2, Medal of Honor Airborn, Golden Eye, Kill Zone 2 & Grand Theft Auto 4.    

Police Warfare will be Exclusive to PC at first with hopes of Expanding to Xbox 360 & PS3.

APRIL MODERN WARFARE 3 DLC

Activision announced downloadable maps 7 and 8 to Call of  Duty: Elite premium members. So if
you didn't shell out the extra fifty bucks for the elite package, your out of luck. The content will be made available to  Xbox 360 users  right off the bat. Unfortunately,  PlayStation 3 & PC Call of Duty: Elite user's wont receive this DLC until a later date.  April's multiplayer maps include Sanctuary and Foundation.

Sanctuary is a monastery that takes place perched high above Central Greece,
which only proves a good view is so important to have while your lining up your sites on the enemy. 
Foundation let's player fight to control this South Korean factory that's been long since abandoned.


So happy gaming to all of you Special Elite members who threw your cash at Activision and left us fallen comrades behind who were too cheap to dish out the dough for frilly extras.  It's ok, our flight's not canceled just delayed.  We'll meet you there.

NO MAX PAYNE 3 DEMO

Bad news for all you Max Payne enthusiast's out there waiting to get a taste of this new game in the series.  Well, this just isn't going to happen.  Rockstar Games upcoming title Max Payne 3 will have no demo before the game's May release next month. 

On Rockstar Games twitter account they stated that they have no plans to release a playable demo. 


Max Payne 3 will be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 in the US on May 15, in Europe by May 18.  The PC version hits the US May 29,  Europe June 1.
